We have been doing one-of-a-kind mysteries for over 20 years for groups as small as 12 and as large as 500. We perform locally in the Greater Boston area, and have local troupes in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Altanta, Philadelphia, Washington, DC & Southern Virginia in Richmond, Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. Some shows are customized, some are better for small audiences, others for large audiences, some are great team builders others take you back in time. All of our shows include lots of audience participation, comedy, and music.

Traveling Troupe
The secret to fun parties is a mystery - a mystery dinner show!  We provide unique & memorable entertainment that is suitable for any party and fun for all ages. We can travel to your chosen restaurant; hotel or banquet site or we can help you find one that will fit your needs and the needs of our specialized dinner theater entertainment.

We have shows that can be customized, some better for small groups, others for large groups, some great for team building and others that take you back to a time or place where your mystery including theme music (DJ or band), audience participation and a fun mystery that can be solved by questioning the CharActors and solving the clues.

A Very Merry Pirate Holiday Party! Worried that your company holiday party will be just like last year’s and the year before? Worry no more! A ship full of pirates has docked nearby and is crashing your event to share wintry sea shanties and hilarious stories of holiday seasons past. Completely PC, non-denominational fun for everyone, the show is guaranteed to delight your guests. Avast, mateys! Partners in Crime - a team building murder mystery

Join the Bumbling Bobbies for the high-energy, laugh-a-minute team-building comedy: Partners in Crime! Their warmth and good-natured foolery invite participants to let loose and have fun! Partners in Crime is 3-scene comedy that’s designed to be performed around a three-course meal.

During the intermission, teams are encouraged to create a solution to the mystery. There is no right answer! This is an exercise in creativity, and, along with using the evidence recorded in Scene Two, teams are encouraged to incorporate details from their work environment into the solutions.

Scene Three will reveal all the solutions! As a result of creating their solutions based on the evidence from Scene Two, these solutions often contain striking similarities, reveal shared experiences from work, and serve to strengthen relationships and camaraderie within your group. A “winning” solution is chosen. Prizes are awarded to the five audience members who played parts in the show, as well as to the winning team.

Partners In Crime can work with a luncheon, dinner or any type of meeting in almost any venue including boats, trains, boardrooms, hotel meeting rooms and lounges. The suggested audience size is 20 to 60 people.

In the Company of Killers
A truly custom murder mystery is the most unique corporate entertainment you’ll ever see. Which helps explain why this is our most popular mystery. Leave it to teambonding to combine comedy, mystery, music (a strolling musician) and audience participation into one exciting event completely for and about your company.

You and your guests begin by meeting four of the most outlandish and interesting characters you’ve ever seen. Motives pop up. Clues are discovered. Then, suddenly, a murder occurs! Now the fun really begins. Who committed this terrible crime? You’ll get to question suspects as you work to solve the crime, and even get questionable help of our comic detective along the way!

This mystery is custom-scripted for your company – a simple three-page questionnaire gives us all the ammunition we need to make your event a rousing success. It’s helpful to know what your guests are like. Who may want to be more “involved” in the show? What will make this an event to remember for everyone involved? It all adds up to a personalized event that’s entertaining, funny and exciting.

Hooray for Hollywood
Presenting a hilarious, highly customized murder mystery served with a Hollywood twist.

Based on prearranged information about your organization and group, our CharActors will have the room howling with laughter as various people are called up to audition for the roles of fellow employees, or even to play themselves. The event takes a dark and mysterious turn as the cast of the film is announced –Babs makes a toast to their success, and suddenly dies! Yes, it seems someone has poisoned Babs Moneybaggs.

A detective (yet another CharActor) arrives armed with plenty of clues. But it’s going to take personalized info from your organization to really fill in all the pieces. You’ll scream (with laughter). You’ll cry (for help). Murder has never been this stylish – or this much fun.

Death & Texas

Solve a murder, down-home Country Western style

Who killed R.J. Westinghouse, late owner of twelve thousand acres, seventeen hundred head of cattle, and the most expensive diamond ring this side of the Mississippi? And to where has that ring disappeared? Join a delightful cast of characters, from R.J.’s Southern belle fiancée to a manly cowboy with a secret past, to unravel clues and solve this crime – all before dessert! Your guests will question suspects, get involved in the storyline, and laugh themselves silly at this clever and fun show!

Luau of Doom!  
Congratulations! Your group gets to relax at a tropical-themed luau, complete with music, dancing, and leis. But when one of the tiki gods’ shrines is disrupted, a curse is placed upon you all. Can you work together to solve puzzles, unravel clues, and ultimately break the curse before the night (or day) is over? Complete with mysterious characters, an interesting storyline, and comedic elements throughout, this team bonding event is fun, intelligent, and very exciting

Margaritas Murder Mystery 
In a restaurant, banquet room or a Private Boston Harbor Cruise, you'll have a "license to fill" your night with a "murder in paradise". All you have to do is figure out how and why yet another bartender has been "wasted away again" Who did it? The suspects are in "hot water" could the killer be Margarita the party host, Jim Slim the snack delivery man and Peter Parrot the entertainer. Question the suspects during the 2 and a half hour show by land or by sea. 

"The Mobfather"
Featuring Marlon Brand "O" Fridays at Back Bay Mansion Mystery. You're invited to the Scarplace mansion to attend a surprise 40th birthday party for the Mobfather leader of Boston Mafia. But it is the guests who are surprised when gunshots are fired and the doors are blocked and there's no way out until the family honor has been restored and the killer captured.

Bada Boom

Now you can join Bugsy and his 'gang' and become a Meal And Fun Interactive Audience member... or MAFIA for short. And as a MAFIA member you'll get to see if you have what it takes to join the Family or just die laughing. Bada bing, Bada Boom! Don't make me tell you twice.

Death by Disco

The “Softly Silver Dancers” a successful 70s dance group is coming back and a big party has been set up to celebrate but will a murder spoil the celebration? Come solve the mystery, and boogie on down. Music, dancing, singing and a bunch of outrageous characters in 70s outfits will make this a night to remember. This show includes DJ & Dancing.
